What happens to my garden waste?

When we carry out our garden services, invariably there will be waste to dispose of. So what happens to this waste?

Running Bear Garden Care not only care for your garden, we also care about the environment, so therefore we endeavour to carry out all of our services in the most ecologically friendly way as possible.

We are licensed waste carriers, provided by The Environment Agency, and as such we are bound by law to dispose of our business waste legally and responsibly. We are very lucky to be able to partner up with a local company that helps us to achieve that in the best possible way.  When we take your waste to them they will turn the green waste products into reusable products such as mulches and compost.

Eco Sustainable Solutions are striving to recycle and reuse many different types of waste from our garden rubbish to the food that we throw away and they do all of this in a most interesting way. Please take a look at their website and read the many ways that the good people at ECO make this possible.

So when you are looking to employ the services of a gardening team to maintain, landscape or carry out any type of work in your garden, please make sure that you check they are a responsible contractor and get rid of your waste properly and not dumped in a layby or country lane for someone else to clear at the taxpayers cost. The image featured on this post is an example of local trades people dumping their waste in the Ringwood Forest.

We are all responsible for what happens to our waste!
