I contacted Running Bear in the spring because I had some bamboos which were growing out of control and I wanted the removed. He did a great job. It was quite a job but he left things neat and of course, got rid of all the rubbish. The other day I realised our hedges needed trimming and so called on his again and, on this occasion, he brought his son to help. (I usually do the job myself but they were too tall and needed more strength than I have.) They were both extremely polite and helpful - eager to please. Once again they did a good job of trimming several bushes and hedges very quickly. Their tidying up was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use them again. And by the way, the rates are extremely reasonable which is a bonus!

Dear Bernie, Garden Overhaul – Bournemouth Artisan work closely with different types of homeowners, buyers, investors and landlords, therefore having a reliable and trustworthy relationship with a knowledgeable gardener who ‘does what it says on the tin’ is very important for our clients. Bernie went along and did a sensible quote for a facelift on a property that had been rented for a couple of years and the garden areas to the front, side and rear were really in need of a ‘good’ tidy up. At the same time Bernie and his lads also painted the gates and fencing and effectively restored the garden giving it a lovely fresh look ready for new tenants to make their next home. Dear Bernie, I asked Bernie to come around and look at our decking which is about 12 years old and in places some of the boards have rotted through with a view to quote to replacing them. Bernie came at the date and time we agreed to price the job and gave me a figure that I thought was very good value for money. My experience with Gardeners in the past has not been a happy one with double bookings and frequent no shows which are very annoying. I am delighted to say that not only did Bernie not inflict this on me, but on the first day when he had been prevented from picking up the boards the previous day by traffic problems he rang and told me the night before that he would be about an hour late as he knew I had client appointments. When the work began it soon became apparent that his intention to finish the work in a day was not going to happen as the original builders had used many different types of decking screws and it was difficult to get the old Boards up. Bernie kept me informed of the likely overrun, and before he left had booked in to come back the following day. True to the BNI ethics his immediate reaction was to tell me I have given you a quote and I must stick to it. The job included cleaning the decking, Bernie’s initial reaction to the result was that it was not good enough, but both Moira and I are delighted and we are not that easy to please. We have agreed a final price and I am still convinced we have got great value for money for the work done as well as a much better looking and safer decking area. I have no hesitation in recommending Bernie to others who want to get supreme value for themselves and their clients on the Garden Maintenance front. I have every intention of using his services again and recommending him to my friends and clients.
